Spook Around Downtown 2022
Under a beautiful fall sky, Downtown Lawrenceburg welcomed approximately 6000 visitors to our fourth annual Spook Around Downtown event! Hosting well over 40 vendors handing out candy, toys, prizes, and having fun activities, Downtown was transformed into the largest trick-or-treat event in Lawrenceburg!
Downtown Lawrenceburg was so excited that local historian Clint Alley joined us as well for two SOLD-OUT walking tours highlighting the shadowed history of Lawrenceburg. With over 100 guests, Clint Alley walked guests from the Old Jail Museum to a local cemetery while enthralling them with tales of Lawrenceburg’s darker side.
In the fall, Downtown Lawrenceburg turns into a fall destination. This year, the highlight was the 100-plus pumpkins that hang from our beautiful trees around our square, which have provided fun fall photo opportunities. Additionally, our Positivity Pumpkins project celebrated it’s the third year, where everyone is invited to paint a positive message on a pumpkin and place it around our gazebo to spread positivity all fall long.
Downtown’s amazing merchants always show out for our Fall Decorating Contest!
For the second year in a row, The Pet Palace has won the popular vote!
The highlight of the event though, always, is the costumes! We had SO MANY amazing visitors this year!!!!
