Get ready for a flavorful and festive evening at the Dixieland Tailgate and Chili Cook Off!
Join us on October 19th in the parking lot behind Pie Factory/Society for the Third Annual Downtown Lawrenceburg Chili Cook Off, combined with live music and the big TN vs AL game.
Event Details:
- Date: October 19th
- Live Music: 2 PM - 11 PM
- Location: Parking lot behind Pie Factory/Society
- Team Entry Fee: $25 per team
Chili Cook Off Highlights:
- Arrival: Chili Cook Off teams should arrive by 1:30 PM to set up and prepare to serve.
- Chili Preparation: All chili must be made from scratch, and teams are required to bring their prepared chili with them—no on-site cooking will be available.
- No Power: Please note that no electricity will be provided, so plan your setup accordingly.
- Judging Categories: Two $300 cash prizes will be awarded—one for Judge's Choice and one for People's Choice.
- Team Spaces: Each team will have a 10x10 space to decorate and add to the tailgating atmosphere.
Rules and Regulations:
- Chili Preparation: Chili must be fully prepared before arriving. Bring at least 5 gallons of your best recipe to serve.
- Allergens: Teams must clearly post any allergens present in their chili.
- Decorations: Teams are encouraged to decorate their tailgate spaces to enhance the festive vibe.
Tasting and Sales:
- Tasting Fee: Chili tasters can pay $5 to taste all the chilis and vote for their favorite.
- Chili Bowl Sales: Bowls of chili will be available for purchase at $3each.
