Downtown Lawrenceburg Celebrates Private Facade Restoration Projects with Downtown Improvement Grant Facade Program


Lawrenceburg, Tennessee - February 21, 2024

Downtown Lawrenceburg is thrilled to announce the funding of 12 private facade restoration projects through the Downtown Improvement Grant Facade Program. This initiative represents a significant private investment totaling almost $350,000 in facade improvements, enhancing the historic charm of Downtown Lawrenceburg.

This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable partnership with the City of Lawrenceburg. Their support and collaboration have been instrumental in driving forward the revitalization efforts in Downtown Lawrenceburg.

Administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, the grant aims to restore and rehabilitate historic downtown areas across Tennessee. The successful funding of these projects underscores the commitment to preserving the architectural heritage of Downtown Lawrenceburg.

Michele Gantz, Executive Director of Downtown Lawrenceburg, expressed excitement about the private investment in the downtown area, stating, "It's truly exciting to witness the dedication of our private owners in revitalizing Downtown Lawrenceburg.
